David Alan Lewis

David Alan Lewis, 74, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lewis was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Irvine and Sally Lee Thomas Lewis; retired from GE where he worked in assembly; and a former E-

8 Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children, Gregory Lewis, Cheryl (Joshua) Sheese, both of Lawrenceburg, and Sarah (Joey) Galloway, Westview, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Ciara House, Jasper Lewis, Hannah Darst, Tilley Darst, Anakin Sheese, Naomi Sheese, Marvin Galloway, Joey Galloway, and Tobey Galloway; great-granddaughter, Mia Darst; two sisters, Linda Durham and Gail (Jerry) Wheeler, both of Lawrenceburg.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Thomas.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating.  Burial will follow in Camp Nelson Cemetery with full military honors.  Visitation 11-1 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
