David Franklin Gurley Jr.

David Franklin Gurley Jr., 63, of Georgetown, died Sunday November 12, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.

He was born on May 2, 1960 in Oakland California to the late David Franklin and Marlene Rea Ham Gurley.

David had served in the National Guard for many years.

He loved fishing and, loved to draw for his family and friends.

Mr. Gurley is survived by one brother, Dennis Lee Gurley of Louisville, Kentucky and one sister, Pamela Rea Carpenter of Georgetown, Kentucky.  He also has several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of David life will be held at a later date.
