Daniel Lee Carter

Daniel Lee Carter, 38, of Lawrenceburg, died Friday, January 21, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Carter was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Donna May Carter Jolly, Lawrenceburg, and Quintin Strunk, Lexington.  He was self-employed and loved the Kentucky Wildcats.

Along with his parents he is survived by his wife, Ashley Lynn Defevers Carter; daughter, Debbie Danielle Grace Tremba, both of Lexington; five sisters, Joni (John) Walters-Madden, Lawrenceburg, Tabitha Adams, Amanda Adams, and Angela Walters, all of Lexington, Susie (James) Massengill, Richmond; and second mom, Flora Peggs, Lawrenceburg.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Quintin Edward Carter; maternal grandparents, Donald Edward Carter and Bertha Devers; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth Edward and Emma Strunk.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Pastor Benny Strunk officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington.  Visitation 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. prior to the service.
