Clayton Henry Dale

Clayton Henry Dale, 81, husband for 53 years to Joyce Ann Doss Dale, of Lawrenceburg, died August 2, 2017 at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Mr. Dale was born in Henry County to Leonard and Ethel Hamilton Dale.  He was an avid farmer and retired from Bendix as a machine operator.

Clayton is survived by a son, Tim Dale; two daughters, Paula Frazier and Rebecca (Derek) Whitaker, all of Lawrenceburg; 5 grandchildren, James, Calvin, and Amanda Agee, Hannah and Elijah Whitaker; 3 great-grandchildren, Bentley, Carter, and Amelia Agee; sister, Ida Beverly, Bethlehem, KY; two brothers, Leonard (Annabelle) Dale, Jr., Frankfort, and Frank Dale, Eminence.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Downey.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Gash Memorial Chapel.  Burial will be in Alton Cemetery.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
