Mrs. Clarice Austin Moore, age 98, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020.

Mrs. Moore was born in Lawrenceburg to the late Ida Siers and Ben Austin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Eulas Moore and sister, Marguerite Austin Young Gillis.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie (Edward) Kormanyos; son, Donald L. (Kay) Moore; and one granddaughter, Tammy Ivie.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wheeler officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 11-1 p.m. prior to the services.

Mrs. Moore was an avid gardener, worked with her sister and father at Austin Greenhouses, was an aide with the Anderson County School System, and was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

The family would like to thank the church community, nursing home workers, friends and family who supported their mother in her senior years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 300 S. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky 40342.
