Charles Chadwick "Chad" Shofner

Charles Chadwick "Chad" Shofner, 45, of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Lexington, KY.

He was born in Jefferson County to Charles Joseph "Butch" Shofner, of Lawrenceburg and Glinda Smith Brown, Louisville. Chad was a 1996 graduate of Anderson County High School and was formerly employed by Osram Sylvania Lamp Plant where he worked as a supervisor for 24 years.

Along with his parents he is survived by a step-daughter, Lesley Alvarez, Lexington; sister, Dana (Todd) Rodgers, Frankfort; chosen grandmother, Margaret H. Johnson, Taylorsville; special aunt; Betty Hayden, Louisville; nephew, Cory (Lindsey) Case, Lawrenceburg; niece, Madison Case, Lexington; and great-niece, Emerlyn Case, of Lawrenceburg.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at Gash Memorial Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled.
