Betty Jo (Phillips) Hyatt

Betty Jo Phillips Hyatt, 64, of Lawrenceburg, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Anderson County to the late Robert Morgan and Betty Jane Hawkins Phillips. She attended Glensboro Baptist Church and was retired from the Kentucky State Government where she worked in the office of Vital Statistics.

She is survived by one son, Billy Hyatt, of Lawrenceburg; one daughter, Brandy LeeAnn Smith, of Frankfort; two siblings, James Alvin Phillips and Shirley B. Phillips, both of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren Brittany Morgan and James Chase Smith, both of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Reva Frances Whittaker and brother, Robert Logan Phillips.

Direct cremation was chosen and Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
