Bertha Ann (Grimes) Walker

Bertha Ann Grimes Walker, 77, of Lawrenceburg, died Monday, February 22, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in North Carolina to the late James Horton and Julia Devlia Bauguess Grimes. She was a member of Alton Baptist Church and also worked for Smith's Grocery as a sales clerk.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, Jack James Walker; two daughters, Patricia Ann Estes, Lisa Marie (Jason) Perry; three sons, Jack Dwayne (Amy) Walker, all of Lawrenceburg, Gary Wayne Walker, Homessa, FL, Dennis Ray Walker, St. Petersburg, FL; two brothers, R.G. Grimes, Rob Grimes; one sister, Barb Bumgarner, all of North Carolina; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death a son, Cleve Walker; four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Perry and Matt Sawyer Officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday.

Casketbearers will be Jason Perry, James Gulley, Matthew Perry, Timothy Perry, Shawn Walker, and Larry Cook.
