Audrey Alice (Gregory) Gritton

Audrey Alice Gregory Gritton, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Gilbert Gritton, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at her residence.

Ms. Gritton was born in Anderson County to the late Everett Louis and Lula Mae Gillis Gregory.  She graduated from Western High School; she was a member of Penny's Chapel; and a former Administrative Assistant for RECC.

Audrey is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Donnie) Peggs, Lawrenceburg; son, Mark (Wanda) Gritton, Versailles; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister, Doris Dailey, of Brockton, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Cremation was chosen.  Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
