Arvin Harley

Arvin B. Harley, 85, of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Anderson County to the late Benjamin Harrison and Dovie Cornish Harley.  He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church; a farmer; and worked as a Nutrition Technician at KY Nutrition Center for several years.

Mr. Harley is survived by his wife of 21 years, Edna Evans Cornish Harley, Lawrenceburg; 7 nieces and nephews, Roy (Velena) Harley, Jewell (Jennie) Harley, Robert (Janice) Harley, and Barbie (Kerry) Markwell, all of Lawrenceburg, James (Judy) Harley, Harrodsburg, Shirley (Jim) Akers, Frankfort, and Janet (Keith) Cornish, Lebanon; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Cox Harley; and 3 brothers, Walter, Marvin, and William Harley.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating.  Burial will follow in the Darnell Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
