Anna Mae Kays Phillips

Anna Mae Kays Phillips, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, widow of William "Mush" Phillips, died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center in Lawrenceburg.

She was born in Anderson County to the late David Leslie and Ermer Anderson Kays. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church; Ladies Auxillary Post 34; Anderson County Senior Citizens Center; and a homemaker.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Phillips and Barbara Willard; three sons, Wayne (Donna) Phillips, Ricky (Angie) Phillips and Ronnie Phillips, all of Lawrenceburg; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jerry Rucker; sister, Opal Kays; and son-in-law, Russell Willard.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeff Tyler and Bro. Carl Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Casketbearers will be Adam, Allen and Travis Phillips, Mark Willard, Dudley Gash and Jamie Kinney. Honorary bearers will be the granddaughters, Melanie Wiley, Susan Oakley, Kimberly Phillips-Thorpe and Tara Phillips.
