Anita Marie Ward
October 22, 1962 — December 23, 2021
Anita Marie Ward, 59, died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at The Medical Center at Franklin, KY.
She was born in Anderson County to the late Eldon Ray Ward and Dorothy Louise Jamison Ward. She was a 1980 graduate from Oldham County High School. In her free-time she enjoyed crafting, reading, writing stories and loved to dance.
Anita is survived by two sisters, Jana Rae Kiper, of Owensboro and Deana Berry, of Louisville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Minnie Pearson Jamison, John Worley and Gracie Gaines Ward.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Gash Memorial Chapel from 11-12 p.m. No funeral service will be held. Burial will immediately follow in Sand Spring Cemetery.
