Allen Wayne Best

Allen Wayne Best, age 63, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his residence.

Wayne was born in Frankfort, Kentucky to Betty Hyatt Trent, of Lawrenceburg, and the late Charles Best.  He was a plumber and the owner of Best Plumbing in Lawrenceburg.

Along with his mother he is survived by his three children, Connie Wayne Best and Misty (Robert) Tackett, both of Lawrenceburg, and Collin Best, Frankfort; grandchildren, Morgan Wells, Carly Tackett, Brady Tackett, Shawn and Alex Burton; sister, Carla (Brian) Pauley; brothers, Tommy Best and Bobby (Margie) Best, all of Lawrenceburg, and Tony Best, Versailles.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Charles and Cheryl Best.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Steve Wells and Bryan Proctor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and prior to the services on Friday.

To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky, all persons attending a visitation or funeral will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.  Fifty (50%) occupancy of the funeral home will be enforced.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
