Alice Kathryn Akins Obituary

Alice Kathryn Estep Akins, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Allie B. Akins, died Monday, March 21, 2016 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Anderson County to the late James Edward and Mary Myrtle Montgomery Estep. She was a member at Nineveh Christian Church and worked as a housekeeper for Heritage Hall Healthcare Center for 16 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Diane Akins Goodlett, Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Gene Akins; and two brothers, Carl Edward and Mort Montgomery Estep.

There will be a private graveside service at Fox Creek Cemetery with Bro. F.D. Robinson and Jerry Montgomery officiating. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
